When the board at UME Health asked us to create a new health assessment service to sit alongside our established sister brand, Lumen, I was given something rare in corporate healthcare: complete creative freedom. The brief was open but the bar was high. Build something that would succeed commercially, that would be a genuinely good service, and that would complement Lumen rather than compete with it. This is the story of how CheckPoint came to be.

A modern experience, end-to-end
The experience is built for how people live now. You come in, have your scans and blood tests, and within a few days you have a follow-up consultation with one of our specialists from the comfort of your own home.
Alongside the clinical service, I am also leading a digital transformation project that will let clients book their own assessment as easily as booking a flight or a hotel room. It is fully automated and straightforward to use, with a personal portal to view and discuss results, going live in August.
CheckPoint is the product of many hands and a great deal of expertise, and I am proud to have been the one to bring it together. It reflects a simple belief: that genuinely good preventive healthcare should be rigorous, personal, and built around the individual.
